Charlotte Tian
about me
My journey in photography started in 2015, when I began shooting the urban scenes in Beijing. I got gravitated towards film photography in college, for the spontaneity and candidness.
Intentionally breaking free from the dazzling effects of post-production, I enjoy exploring the interaction of lights and colors while capturing nuanced emotions of my subjects. I enjoy moments of pure calmness behind the viewfinder.
Northwestern University ‘22
B.A. in Mathematics & M.S. in Computer Science
Currently based in Chicago, USA.
